It’s all about change – Diane Holliday
It’s all about change
There is no certainty in life as I am sure you are all aware, and change comes every day in some form or another. Big changes though, occur many times during a life time and tend to more memorable, sometimes because they are frightening or exceptionally joyful!
Our emotions are spurred into action whichever type of change has happened and emotional memories stick with us for a long time. When our scary, or upsetting memories linger long enough to create regular emotional pain, is when we use EFT, this tackles the old fears, puts them into perspective and enables detachment, reconciliation and therefore, relief.
Mostly we can take the small changes in our stride, decisions are made ‘on the move’, so we can flow with the realities of life. My coaching methods encourage clients to embrace changes in circumstances and emotions, to look forward to the future by actively working with the changes, and not against them.
For instance, say you have been told that you will be made redundant in the very near future. This needs to be seen as ‘one door closing and another one opening’ or thoughts of defeat and worthlessness can be overwhelming. We look for ways to get back into positive thinking by using alternative methods to find new employment, there are several which I can share with you.
We also tap for the shock and worry that may accompany such a scenario, especially if financial and family commitments are a concern.
These are just a few ways of looking at changes in your life that may not seem so brilliant to start with, there are always different ways to see life. Look for the possibilities in every occasion…be the change that you want in your life.
Diane – loving change in every way…
